The cost of labor depends on the scope, location, and complexity of the project but the labor cost is usually around 25-35% of the total project cost.

The consultation fee covers an hour of the installers' time, a detailed quote which lists the material and its costs plus the cost of labor. You are also privy to the installer's proprietary knowledge about everything associated with the project.
